The newest improvement for Member notification of BCRC Random Tests will be our ability to text message those Members who are selected for random tests. Please note, by sending your number to us you are providing confirmation of your consent allowing BCRC to send your Random Test Notification via text message to the number you provide. This is the “opt in” option. The “opt out” option is simply do not initiate the process.

This is how it will work: You will text your cell phone number to our email address, from the designated cell phone you want to receive the notification; text@bcrcnet.com, add your service provider, your name and BCRC member I.D. number. You need to remember you will still be notified by letter via the U.S. Mail. The letter will be the official test notification and the date on the letter will be when your seven (7) day window begins. We are only providing this service as a courtesy to our Members, much like the email notification many of you already receive and which you will continue to receive if you are signed up. If you keep your information current with the BCRC, you will be notified by text, email and with a letter mailed to the address on file. You are responsible for keeping all your contact information current in our records. Help us help you! Our goal is to keep the workers working and the workplace drug free. Let’s do it together!!
Express Result Testing
Express kits are available for Post-Accident & Probable Cause only at designated sites. If you wish to use those kits you must request it or make sure your contractor profile at the site has been set-up under BCRC to automatically default to this type of test.

Pre-Employment use of these kits requires an Authorization Form provided by BCRC. Before sending anyone for use of this type of drug screen kit you must first call the BCRC office to verify eligibility for use.
It is with great enthusiasm that the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable (NWIBRT) announces the adoption of the Building and Construction Resource Center and its BCRC Policy for Substance Abuse Testing, as the preferred method for collection, screening, tracking and administering substance testing as well as their Employee Assistance Program (EAP provided by Perspectives, Inc.) for a multitude of employee related counseling needs. Through thorough review and scrutiny, NWIBRT has determined that the added value and strength of the BCRC will contribute greatly to the efforts of providing a substance free workforce and work site as well as forging forward in an attempt to establish a standardized substance testing program accepted by our industry. Together, labor and management have taken great care to ensure that the BCRC policy meets the NWIBRT requirements. In doing so, we discovered that the BCRC Policy exceeds those standards and complies with all Federal, State and Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) guidelines. We applaud the efforts of the BCRC Board of Directors for continuing to focus on providing this type of service to their participants, the employers and consequently our industry. It is this foresight and partnering that we believe will carry us forward and let us be competitive in the future.
